How do I know what to shred and what to store?

Answer: Any records that are no longer required to be kept based on legal or internal retention policies should be destroyed in a timely manner. This includes all documents containing sensitive/proprietary information that are no longer needed.

Every day you carefully slide all those important no-longer-necessary documents into the Fireproof shredding box. Eventually the box gets full, so you have to wait. A few days later you’re at it again.

Then you think…hmm…I wonder what happens to all these forms after I fill the slot. Well, wonder no more!
