<p>Do you remember what you were doing on April 30, 1998? </p>
<p>Samantha does. </p>
<p>On April 30, 1998, Samantha began her first day at Fireproof Records Center. She was the first employee CEO, Mike James, hired for the imaging department. Her first day on the job was also the first day of our imaging department. Starting out in our first Grove City location<strong>,</strong> Samantha was responsible for prepping, scanning and indexing all documents for our first imaging client. She now oversees<strong> </strong>more than 25 imaging department employees. She also tracks specific imaging accounts, controls quality check-in and fulfills client scan-on-demand requests.<strong><em> </em></strong></p>
<p><em>“It was radical for us to start offering paperless services and encouraging companies to go paperless, as we were a company whose foundation was built on storing paper,” said James. “We created a culture shift when we opened our imaging department. The marketplace was variable and needed a lot of education. When Samantha started she did it all—prepping, scanning, indexing and more. She was vital is laying the foundation for our imaging department. By the third year, our imaging business skyrocketed and we have experienced industry growth ever since.” </em></p>

<p><strong>Top Tip For Imaging Clients </strong></p>
<p>Samantha’s advice to imaging clients is “don’t use staples.” When clients use staples it slows down the process, as prepping workers have to remove all the staples before sending through the scanner.  Also, remember the best way to index your documents is with a unique value, like a social security number or invoice number.</p>
