History with Fireproof

Karen began her journey with Fireproof Record Center (FRC), where she met our President, Susan Eichinger at a social network meeting. Karen wanted to work with Susan because she wantedto work with a company that cares about people and builds relationships.

Throughout the years, Karen has been a key component of FRC’s winning reputation. She attributes her success to FRC’s clear and consistent philosophy of great customer service.

In May, Karen will celebrate her 25th anniversary with FRC!

Fireproof Memories

Karen’s favorite FRC memory is of a photo that was taken at a Christmas party, some time ago, and noticing the growth of the staff, and how FRC was contributing to the community.

Industry Forecast

In Karen’s 25 years of service, she has seen a number of industry changes. The current shift is focused toward imaging. She predicts an influx of regulatory laws; regarding how, what and why companies image and store documents. Karen has an excellent pulse on industry trends, and has proven to be a valuable resource to many of our clients in a consulting and authoritative role.

Four Things You Didn’t Know About Karen

  • Swimming is one of her favorite hobbies.
  • She is an avid coin collector.
  •  Her favorite item is a 1917 large two dollar bill, called “horse blankets”.
  • She volunteers for a number of organizations - Helping Hands (volunteer) and  Small claims court, as a mediator.

What Karen Appreciates Most About Fireproof

“If FRC had a personality it would be one of a family atmosphere that is caring and focused on building relationships. In addition we recognize we are a service company”.

As a long time employee of FRC, Karen has clearly grown to love the company. She says what she loves about the company most is that “we always have our ears and eyes open.” Employees are always encouraged to give their input and management is always willing to listen and respect other comments and suggestions.

Always thinking ahead, embracing industry shifts and changing to accommodate client needs and caring about people, is what Karen values most about FRC.
