The Touch app gives users all of the same functionality they are used to while also allowing users to open documents directly into FileBound for filing.

Scheduled Workflow Process and Reporting - The FileBound Office Automation process will find files or documents on a set schedule and automatically route them down a workflow process. In addition, the FileBound Office Automation systems have the ability to automatically generate any FileBound report on a set schedule. Commonly accessed reports can be automatically generated and sent to the appropriate people for review.

Your company’s information represents one of its most valuable assets. Whether on paper or stored digitally, your records should be kept safe from theft and natural disaster. The following are steps you should take to ensure that your documents are secure:

Do

Mark documents appropriately and prominently according to their confidentiality

Make sure that your distribution lists are up-to-date and that the information is encrypted or otherwise secured, if appropriate, when transmitting the information electronically

Make sure that confidential emails are clearly marked as such in the subject line

Password-protect your desktop, laptop, and removable drives, and consider how someone will access them in an emergency

Make sure that electronic records are backed-up

When information on removable media needs to be destroyed, break or shred the media to ensure the information cannot be recovered

When paper records need to be destroyed, make sure to use a shredder, or place it in a Shred-Smart receptacle to be securely destroyed by our team of professionals.

Don’t

Leave documents in an unsecured filing cabinet or an unlocked office

Forget to lock your computer when leaving it unattended

Leave your computer unattended in a public area or when traveling

Discard paper records in a public refuse bin

Assume that digital records are destroyed because they have been deleted from your hard drive.
